To access the data after FAT file system damage, an easy way is to restore the data from an updated backup. Okay, we’ll start by saying that yes, a watermaker is indeed a luxury. People have been sailing around the world for years without one, and many still do today. When Dave and I bought our first cruising boat in 2002, a watermaker wasn’t even on our “nice to have” list.

I have a second or third generation X1C. I've used it for three years. As of recent, I shocked the corner of the chasis, causing the computer to restart. (You know, rubbing on carpet type shock.) This may happened twice.
The trackpad and nipple works wonky now. It won't work on occasion, then work again. It won't work if the machine isn't flat on a table.
I'm also recieving error message upon booting. They include a variation of the following:
- 0189: Invalid RFID Configuration Information Area
- 0188: Invalid RFID Serialization Information Area.
- 0187: EAIA data access error.
- 2200: Machine Type and Serial Number are invalid.
- 2201: Machine UUID is invalid
I've checked Lenovo's Numeric Error Codes, and it seems to be 'System Board' that is at fault. Also, there doesn't seem to be no uniform or (easy) resolution based on other people's experiences.
The computer is still fully functional -- sans the trackpad and nipple wonkiness. If I use a mouse, I'm okay.
On a fresh OS install, all the problems persist.
Please advise /r/thinkpad experts.
